At two bucks, this is some thrifty hummus. But it's in a jar. Which has been on a shelf. For....? I've bought this more than once now, the packaging is just so friendly... but the taste is a testament that some things really should be refrigerated and have expiration dates!

I'm a bit of a sucker for dried fruits, but they're so pricey. Mango flavoured pineapple, why not? With a named like Gourmet Select, you know it's gotta be good. But um, these taste more like brightly dyed pineapple chunks than anything else.

This soup is actually quite tasty with a good degree of heat and comes with its own miniature spoon! The veggie soup goo stuff is in a foil pouch that is emptied into the cup and then mixed with boiling water. Easy soup for cheap.
